I can't believe that some people really think that 50% of the population is gay! I personally think it is around 10% give or take one or two points. One reason it is difficult to figure out is because often people do not even know that they are gay or lesbian until after many years they realize it somehow. I myself did not come out until I was 25. Before that, if asked, I would have identified as straight. Also, it is difficult to define bisexual. A man may have had only one youthful experience. Does that qualify him as bi? Probably not, so how many experiences does it take to say that someone is bi? And finally, the closet. A place so many men especially feel so cozy and comfortable. Why admit anything, right? My business, no one elses. Men have a tougher time to come out and admit they have an attratction to another male, even to themselves, let alone to any stranger taking a poll.
