Fighting NOM in N.H.
"The National Organization for Marriage is coming to New Hampshire," Fred Karger warns in the above video commercial. "[NOM] is going to lie to you. They will say they are here to protect the sanctity of marriage -- they're not. They're here to demonize gay people. Don't let them destroy one more life, cause one more teen suicide."
Click here to learn more about Karger, who has indicated an interest in running for president in 2012.

Charles Barkley Stands Up For Gays On MLK Day 1/17/2011
Former NBA MVP Charles Barkley took time out during a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. before Monday's Celtics-Magic game to speak out against antigay discrimination.
He said: "You know, people try to make it about black and white. He talked about equality for every man, every woman. We have a thing going on now — people discriminating against homosexuality in this country. I love the homosexual people. God bless the gay people. They are great people."
Barkley, who currently works as a color commentator for basketball broadcasts, also spoke out in opposition to discrimination against Hispanics.

The 2011 Golden Globe Awards - Ricky Gervais Insults
The British comedian's jokes were so near-the-knuckle that when he mysteriously disappeared from the ceremony for an hour, the internet was abuzz with speculation that he had been sacked midway through the broadcast.
Gervais perhaps took a risk too far when he mocked the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the 90-strong group of international film critics who choose the Golden Globe winners.
"I'd like to quash this ridiculous rumour going around that the only reason The Tourist was nominated was so the Hollywood Foreign Press could hang out with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. That is rubbish. That is not the only reason. They also accepted bribes," he said.
The HFPA is currently being sued for $2m by a publicist who claims its members accept lavish gifts in exchange for supporting particular films. The HFPA denies the allegations.
